It was a past/parallel life I experienced in hypnosis that made me realize I could simply drop the limiting story that was in the frame of self. It was a revelation to not feel what I had felt for almost 10 years. It made space to create my life rather than continue living a past story.

Thank you for your writing on this topic!

"Helping highly creative people to recognize their own conditioned, limiting inner stories, and to transcend them" - this is such critical work for us creatives, Robin!

Saving the good stuff to dive in for a deep listen over the weekend.

Jon, great question. You’re not alone! That’s a very common experience. And it would be interesting to get curious about why that may be. It may go back to social conditioning in childhood—for example, high expectations, perfectionism, shaming, etc. I’m not saying those were the reasons for you, but simply illustrating how it works for many of us. In coaching (unlike therapy), we tend not to focus so much on the causes of a paradigm, as on the steps we can take now in order to shift the pattern. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts here. I’m glad this piece resonates.

In general, to get out of difficulties particular those obstacles regarding life take time. To change conditions and make better environment to start from it, take time. And then, a companion with this stage of prepare life condition is an opportunity to lean and get knowledge and gain skills . This is a very long way that I got it till or up when I got 40 years old.

Hi Raed. Thanks for sharing. Yes, for sure, some of our inner patterns take time recognize, “own,” and transform. Having patience with ourselves is key. Yet I’ve found that with help and practice, certain old limiting patterns can be transformed fairly quickly. Creative resilience, for example, can improve quickly with specialized support. As can learning to shift from reactive, negative behaviours to more centred, calm responses. Positively shifting the dominant feeling-tone plays an important role in shifting results. I’ll talk about that in the next Wonders Within video, which you and other paid subscribers will receive on Friday, November 29th.
